Writing Retreats

Because we firmly believe that teachers of writing should be writers, we invite Teacher Consultants to spend a Saturday--or sometimes a weekend--at a writing retreat. Retreats are often held at picturesque, quiet locations where the peaceful environment offers a sanctuary for writers.

A Teacher Consultant facilitator guides the event, which often begins with inspirational writing prompts and concludes with a celebration of writing. A writing retreat always includes a sharing of writing and a group blessing for the writer.
