The Central Texas Writing Project, a site of the National Writing Project, is a non-profit K-16 professional development provider within the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education. Educators and education leaders are invited to attend a wide variety of CTWP professional development programs including a Summer Institute, Open Institutes, Advanced Institutes, and other professional growth settings that bring colleagues together to explore the most successful research-based approaches for teaching writing. Based on the NWP's teachers-teaching-teachers model, CTWP programs value the professionalism of teachers and the needs of all students.
