How this video meets the criteria of the genre.

 

This video allows students to think about population growth and the problems associated with it.  The video is used to spark interest in students so that they can work towards modeling how population grows and address the problems and possible solutions.  There is too much data about population growth to include in the video but students will use the information from the US census website.  This project is quite complex and requires several steps to solve.  Addressing the problems associated with population growth is also complex and requires students to do research and come up with solutions.
