Dear Parent(s) or Guardian, I am writing to inform you that over the next five weeks your child will be involved in a special project in his/her Geometry classroom. The project will require the students to design an office building that will benefit his/her community in order for the students to apply this unit to a real-life situation. Students will work in groups to design an office building for an audience of their choosing, but must have four rooms, room for four secretaries, a waiting area, and a conference room. We will be providing uniform building requirements and all basic materials. Should students want to decorate their project, materials will need to be provided by the group.
Thank you very much.
