How to access your certificate
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) does not mail certificates; and the Office of Educator Preparation does not store your certificate.
- You will not receive a physical certificate.
- To access your certificate, you must log back into your TEA Login (TEAL) portal.
- If you no longer have access to TEAL, submit a request to the TEA Helpdesk.
- If your certificate does not post after a few days of being recommended, you must directly contact TEA Educator Certification.

How to use "Certificate Lookup"
Your virtual certificate is considered to be the official record of educator certification in Texas. All current, expired, and inactive certificates can be viewed here by the general public.
- See Certificate Lookup.
- If something is incorrect, immediately contact the TEA Helpdesk.
