Final Status and Awarding of Degree

Initially approved applications will be revisited after final posting of grades to verify that all degree requirements are met.

Based on your completed coursework as it shows on the Degree Audit, our Advising Center will report your final graduation status to the University Registrar's Office for awarding of degrees and will notify you of your status through an email to your Texas State account.

If you are notified that you have not met final degree requirements:
Refer to the notification email for instructions and deadlines for posting of outstanding coursework for awarding of your degree.

If you are you not awarded your degree for the current semester, you must reapply for graduation in a future term.
