Clinical InterviewStudent: Safia Grade level: 7 Topic: The Real Reason’s for the Seasons
Reflection The questions I asked were to evaluate what my student knew and what she thought about the seasons and what may affect the seasons. Her answers in my opinion lacked any direct instruction she may have had in the past. When approaching the GEMS guide for instruction on The Real Reasons for the Seasons there will be little to no prior knowledge other than the misconceptions she has brought with her. When the discussion and survey are covered in the GEMS guide, she along with other students who may not have much experience with the topic may experience confusion. It will be important to explain slowly and clearly and repeat concepts in different ways so that my student and all other students understand the basic concepts of the lesson. |
