Cory Godbolt

Hello!

My name is Cory Godbolt, Upward Bound Director Del Valle, and I am extremely excited to work with you all! I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University in 2012, my Master of Science degree from Henderson State University in 2014, and I will complete my Doctor of Education degree in Rural and Diverse Educational Leadership in 2026 from Southern Arkansas University. From 2015 to 2024, I served in various roles at Lyon College. These roles include working with the APPLE Project Upward Bound program as the Student Support and Outreach Coordinator (2015-2018), the Upward Bound Math-Science Program Director (2018-2022), and serving as the Associate Dean of Students and Black Student Association Advisor (2022-2024). I have also been heavily involved in organizations like the Arkansas Association of Student Assistance Programs (AASAP) and the Southwest Association of Student Assistance Programs (SWASAP).
