Are you a incoming freshman for Fall 2024 and want a head start to your college experience?
Student Support Services invites you to apply for the Summer 2024 Bobcat Bridge Program! The Bobcat Bridge program is an intense 5-week Summer Program from July to August geared towards incoming freshmen. Our aim is to assist students in their transition from high school to college by allowing them to reside in a residence hall, complete two college courses, attend study sessions and workshops to prepare them for life as a Bobcat!

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for Bobcat Bridge, you must:
- Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Graduate High School Spring 2024
- Attend Texas State University in Fall 2024
- Must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- First Generation College Student
- Person with Disabilities
- Meet Income Guidelines
Next Steps to Join Bridge
In addition to completing the application, you must also complete the following:
- Complete a 2023-2024 FAFSA
- Although you may have already completed a 2024-2025 FAFSA, you will need to complete a 2023-2024 FAFSA for this summer.
- Complete a 2024 Summer Financial Aid Application
- Please anticipate to be enrolled for 6 credit hours during the month of July (Summer II).
