READ BEFORE SUBMITTING

  1. Once you submit this Suspension Appeal Form, you will be taken to a webpage containing an Appeal Appointment Booking Link. You will be able to schedule your own appeal appointment based on the available appointment slots. Once selected and submitted, you will receive immediate confirmation of your meeting date, time, and Zoom link. These appointments are time-sensitive and have a quick turnaround time, so please schedule your meeting ASAP. In this appointment, you will be asked to provide documentation of the extenuating circumstances that contributed to your academic status, as well as evidence that those circumstances have been resolved.
  2. Reinstatement from suspension is separate from readmission to the University. Any student who does not enroll in the University for one long semester (fall or spring) is considered a former student and must follow procedures for readmission. In the case that the appeal for reinstatement is approved by the College Dean or by the Suspension Appeals Committee, you will need to have already submitted an application for readmission to Texas State University before the Returning Student Application Deadline.
  3. If my appeal for reinstatement is denied by the College Dean, I will receive information on how to appeal to the University’s Suspension Appeals Committee, which will have a quick turnaround deadline.
I have read, understand, and agree to the statements above. *
