Celissa Peña, a Master's student in Exercise Science, has been awarded the Graduate College's Thesis Research Support Fellowship. Her research, titled "Moral Attitudes and Behavior in Adolescent Basketball Players: Exploring the Influence of Coaches and Teammates," will delve into the complex relationship between moral perspectives and sportsmanlike actions in young athletes.
Peña's thesis committee includes Dr. Lindsay Kipp, Dr. Stacey Bender, and Dr. Jennifer Clegg-Petz, who will provide guidance and support throughout her research. The fellowship will provide funding to assist Peña in conducting her research to complete her Master's degree.
